Sweet Links

Oh goodie, it's time for another round of Sweet Links. There have been so many things making me happy online recently! I am often attracted to that which reminds me to be playful, imaginative, creative and connected with others and this collection really fits the bill.

Get in the mood with me by visiting the Let's Play Pretend set that I found via dujour magazine.

Are you feeling a little more playful? Good! Now you can download this darling free font (via scoutigirl on Twitter) by Ripe Type and make your computer happy too.

Now I have a couple of  blogs to share. The first one is Ez's new personal blog, Carrying On which is a refreshingly honest glimpse into her life. You know Ez from her popular design blog Creature Comforts. The second one belongs to artist Stephanie Corfee who just launched a brand new site. To celebrate, she is having a great sale in her shop until this Friday, 2/26. I love her tagline too: vibrant, bohemian and intricate art.

Okay now here is something that excites me a little too much probably: Scout Books which I learned about from sfgirlbybay. Oh my the possibilities are endless, I love the interior page choices and gosh look at the boundless creativity in their gallery. These puppies come from...guess...Portland...and are printed on 100% recycled paper with soy inks. They are totally rad! (See, when I get too hyper I revert to my native 80s slang mode).

I'm not sure how much time you have today, but my friend Elaine shared this book with me and if you haven't heard of them, you should just clear your calendar for a bit. The goal of their book is "to give people the push to invest in themselves, do what they love and inspire as many awesome people as possible." I mean, you can get lost for quite awhile in their blog and Twitter stream.

Okay I'm getting close to the end. I am just bursting this week, I tell you! I fell head over heels in love with the simplicity of this photo.

And before you go, I want to send you off with the always wonderful, always soothing, always inspiring Jack Johnson. As Jamie said on Facebook (where I saw this), stick it out to the end. And I promise, the end is where it's at: the humanity, the beauty, the connectedness. It made me cry, the very best kind of tears.

Okay, I'm super curious now: which of these links is the sweetest? :)
