Heard Around Home: First Aid Kit

Last week, my sweet friend Kim took me to a concert as her birthday gift to me. Well my friends, I had never heard of First Aid Kit before the show and I'm nothing but a big fan now. Emmylou is the song that I fell in love with during the show and I have had it on repeat all week long.



I was already falling for them by the end of the first song, so when they told the story of how they sang America to Paul Simon, it was almost too much to bear! I grew up with Paul Simon and Simon & Garfunkel and I inherited all of their albums from my father. Listen to them sing it right here -- I can't think of a better way to start your weekend. :)
