Scene Around Home: Light

This month, I have been tackling the long-overdue task of keywording my photo library in Lightroom. One of the unexpected side benefits of this process is seeing my work again. Too often, I import my images and do not enjoy them myself very often.

These images are straight out of my camera. I am grateful for the beautiful light streaming in our home this one afternoon earlier this year. I'm even more gratful that I took the time to grab my camera to capture my son reading a book on the couch and my dog chomping on his bone.

This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say, "It is the magic of the ordinary that catches my eye." Hold on to the everyday moments my friends, they hold the beauty and joy of our lives.
